Important Announcements for 2026

  • To maintain IRS compliance, the individual deductible will increase from $3,300 to $3,400 for single coverage and from $6,600 to $6,800 for family coverage for the Bronze HSA medical plan.
  • NVRH added an employer matching contribution for the Health Savings Account:
    • $20 per pay for single
    • $40 per pay for two person or family
  • Weight loss coverage has been removed for 2026.
  • Ask Alex decision making tool will be available for the 2026 Open Enrollment.
  • For the Bronze H.S.A medical plan, telemedicine coverage will have a $20 copay (currently these services are subject to the deductible)
  • NVRH will contribute towards the Health Savings Account (H.S.A.) for 2026: $20 per pay period for single; $40 per pay period for 2 person/family
  • In 2026, all benefit eligible part-time and full-time NVRH employees can earn a $200 reward for completing qualifying wellness activities or submitting proof of qualifying expenses. Visit the Wellness page for additional information.
  • Short Term Disability benefit has changed from 75% of the current base rate of pay to 70% of current base rate of pay with no maximum benefit period.
  • NVRH Pharmacy copays have increased from $5 to $10.
  • The Retail Pharmacy copays have increased from $15 for generic, $25 for preferred brand, and $40 for non-preferred to $20 for generic, $30 for preferred brand, and $45 for non-preferred brand.
  • The emergency room copay on both the NVRH Limited and Silver medical plans have increased from a $100 copay to $150 copay
  • Opportunity for Guaranteed Issue (GI) amounts during 2026 Open Enrollment only: Amounts increased from $50,000 to $100,000 for employees and from $10,000 to $20,000 for spouse coverage.
  • Eligibility for both the Benefit Ed and Tuition Reimbursement benefits, the waiting period is first of the month following 6 months of employment.
  • Prescription copays for all three NVRH medical plans have increased from 2025 to 2026:
    • 2025:
      • NVRH Pharmacy (90 day supply) $5 copay
      • Retail Pharmacy (30 day supply) $15 generic/ $25 preferred brand/ $40 non-preferred brand
      • Mail Order Pharmacy (90 day supply) $30 generic/ $50 preferred brand/ $80 non-preferred brand
    • 2026:
      • NVRH Pharmacy (90 day supply) $10 copay
      • Retail Pharmacy (30 day supply) $20 generic/ $30 preferred brand/ $45 non-preferred brand
      • Mail Order Pharmacy (90 day supply) $40 generic/ $60 preferred brand/ $90 non-preferred brand
